Child's world is a world of play

The world is the world's children play, I wonder if in their minds there is only a game. Do not rush to panic when the kids realized just want to play. Psychologist Rosdiana Setyaningrum, MPsi, MHPEd, even revealed that children play with age (until age 12 years) it should be given more time to play.
"Until now, many parents are likely to feel worried because their children more often playing than studying," said Diana told Compass Female, some time ago in Jakarta.
Because it considers them too often to play, parents and children fill empty time with a variety of after-school tutoring lessons. Actually, this should be done because it can make children less likely to become stressed and creative. But, if you want to keep filling time with activities that benefit children, should avoid giving tutoring lessons to children. You can give them the skills and arts such as les les dancing, painting, music, and so forth.
"Lessons like these can help stimulate their creativity and brain development," said Diana.
According to one study, children in the age to play a given more time to play outdoors and space for expression, is far more intelligent and more creative than children who only formal learning at school or in the course. "When children play outside their homes will find many new things, and able to communicate his wish to his friends," he said.

Play proved to help children to more easily socialize with other friends. When associating with other children, children may be exposed to a variety of conflicts. The process of play and in conflict with this friend will help shape the child's ability to solve his problems with friends. In the process, playing too often identified with the creative process is going through.
"When playing, children are also required to be more creative in creating their own games of the material around it, so that their game is more fun," said psychologist who practiced in Pluit Hospital and Health Care Intermed this.
Strategies to make children want to learnTo avoid stress in children, Diana suggested to not overload the child with lessons after school. Instead, give the child time to play after school and learn in the afternoon. "Research shows that after the play, the child's brain to be more refreshed and more ready to accept the lesson. The learning process was so fun for them," added the lecturer at James Cook University, Singapore, this.
But as a parent you would not want kids to be lazy learning. There are strategies that can be done to get around so that children not only love to play, but also love to learn. "After-selingkan between activities and schedules with the likes does not like," he said.
Play time can be interspersed with study time. After school, let the kids play until noon. In the afternoon, give the child time to learn, and do all his schoolwork. At night before bed, the child should watch television. Intermittent schedule can help children to do their work faster, more precise, and eager to finish it. As such, they can immediately do what he wanted.
